Uploaded images: photos sent for nutritional estimation (processed and optionally stored)
Device & technical data: operating system, device type, IP address (for analytics and diagnostics)
Transaction data: subscription ID, plan type, and payment confirmation identifiers (no credit card stored)

2. How We Use Your Data

We use your information solely for the following purposes:

To provide personalized recipes and calorie/macronutrient estimations
To process uploaded food images using AI models
To allow account creation and authentication across devices
To send service-related notifications (reminders, status updates)
To improve app performance, user experience, and fix bugs
To manage purchases and subscriptions (premium access)

We do not sell or share your data with third parties for advertising or commercial resale purposes.

3. Data Storage and Security

All data is securely stored via Google Firebase Firestore, a cloud-based NoSQL database. Firebase complies with ISO 27001, SOC 1/2/3, and other certifications (Firebase Privacy Info).

Your images are processed using secure endpoints. If not saved manually, they are deleted automatically after analysis.

We use encryption (SSL/TLS), hashed passwords, and access tokens to protect your data both in transit and at rest.

4. Payment Information

Cook AI provides premium features through secure payment providers:

Stripe – for purchases via our website paywall
Google Play Billing – for Android in-app purchases
Apple App Store – for iOS in-app purchases

We do not store your full credit card or banking details. All transactions are processed by the respective payment gateways, which comply with PCI-DSS security standards.

5. Account Deletion

You may delete your account at any time by:

Using the “Delete Account” option on the Premium page of the app
Or by emailing us at contact@csocodesoft.xyz with the subject "Delete Account"

Once confirmed, we will permanently delete all associated data (profile, saved recipes, nutrition goals, images, etc.) within 14 calendar days.

6. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights:

Access and view your data
Request correction or update
Request deletion of all personal data
Withdraw consent to processing
Receive a copy of your data (data portability)
